I always get a kick out of seeing a scan of the ILDA test pattern done from a LaserBoy optimized wave file!

You know, there is a way to get a legitimate ILDA test pattern at 12K, 16K, 24K and 48K PPS, output from a LaserBoy wave!

Go to the [Tab] system settings and set the output wave sample rate to 12000, 16000, 24000 or 48000. [Esc] back to main and go to menu 'u' and turn off 'e' optimizes before save. Then save a still frame wave of the ILDA test pattern.

I have some problems, i think its due to drivers, Last night my laptop that i have been using laserboy on died, think the hard drive has died, and as i have no success using the USB soundcard with vista, i have installed a dualboot of XP on my desktop. But i am running into a big problem, When i play any waves the galvo's work fine, but the laser will not turn on at all. I have tried inverting the waves. also tired inverting the polarity of the Laser Modulation physically, But no look, The strange part about it is, Laseroids and zoof's other programs work fine. Also i cant get Spaghetti to even load on this new installation of XP, And i have installed the lastest DirectX and .NET's Any Idea's ?

Have you set up the sound card driver in the control panel to 6 or 8 channels, and the other settings that are listed in the main thread?

The USB sound card has been tested, working in Vista by carmangary, maybe he can give you pointers there. What error do you get with spaghetti? Always post as much info as possible to get good help

There reason spaghetti does not work in vista is due to the Moncha Drivers it comes with, Although i dont want to use the Moncha driver it loads by default, But the MonchaDLL.dll is a 32-Bit Program, And i run vista x65. I am sure spaghetti would run fine in V64 if this DLL was to be 64bit compiled.

The soundcard is setup correctly, I have tried 6 and 8 channels, Both setting have to affect on the Laser, It just wont output anything. Unfortunetly my Multimeter is refusing to power on so i cant test the output of the soundcard or opamp board. But still the laser works fine with Laseroids :S I have also Tried both Winamp aswell as Windows Media Player to play the laserboy waves, both inverted and uninverted. Something is not logical here

if it works fine in laseroids, that means the sound card driver is fine, and the EzAudDac driver is working as well. Do you hear sound from laseroids?
When you use windows media player to play laserboy wavs you must specify in the control panel temporarily that the usb sound card is used as primary.

Yeah i have the sounds for laseroid coming though my normal soundcard, and the projector on the USB one

When i use the laserboy waves, i use winamp, but point it at the USB soundcard in its output settings exactly the same way as i did using my laptop, Its all configured correctly.

I dont understand why it wont work

probably winamp can't output more than 2 channels.

VLC is a good player but i find out laserboy waves, it has a little distortion that makes the image unstable, Otherwise my fav. player Great for HD Movies
