I still have a lot of work to do! I need to finish up my track assignment matrix idea, so that we can all know what signals are in which channels.
I also need to get portaudio working. Then LaserBoy can send the wave to the sound system, and do a lot of just-in-time adjustments to the way it outputs.
James.
Control signals come out the left end. Pin 13, +5VDC shutter comes from the input side. The extra pin is for Z, and the yellow and violet are for possible alternate colors.
Pins 14 to 25 are all tied together; except for pin 17, which is covered over with a piece of wire insulation. Any pin on the other end with black heat shrink on it is GND!

I think we need to tie these two threads in a knot.

I received the LaserBoy kit thing today. On the soundcard, I can't remember if I am supposed to tap off the chip side of the caps, short the caps, or remove the caps. Can someone tell me?
Thansks
If you got one of those eBay 5.1 USB sound cards, take a look at the very first picture of this thread.

Could someone give me a link or send me the drivers for the USB sound card? I have the exact same soundcard board as in the picture but it didn't come with any drivers. Thanks!
It will be here:
