Got mine going. I am seeing some cross talk on the channels, though. I can put my oscope on the color channel and it is affected by what I send to the XY channel. I suspect it is Windows doing that.

I got all the channels and colors sorted out. Once I started using the driver you shared it worked fine. But, I get all kinds of jitter in the image. It kind of pulsates in size but otherwise is not distorted. Very strange.

That is the combination of digital gain and limiting. See this:........

I don't know why as of yet, but my first made outboard is a bit different than the others I've made.

Please feel free to talk to me in the most open way such that others might benefit as well.

I set the values to the ones in your picture but that didn't help. It still shaking. I checked and it is coming from the soundcard that way. Very strange. Can't tell if it is DrLavas driver or Windows doing it, though.

Did you go with the LaserBoy generated circle.wav ???

Either call me or PM me your number.... or I'll find it...

You will have a working system.

I finally got it all working like it should. I am not sure what was causing the pulsing but it went away. It's nice to see it working after thinking about building one for a long time. Now I have 4 DACs and one projector. Crazy.

I think I know what you are talking about. The pulsing made the drawn images wobble like floating soap bubbles, right? That is from the fact that there is digital gain on this DAC. It's not in the analog amp section. It's just a numerical multiplier of the digital number stream. This can lead to clipping quite easily, so there is also an automatic gain control; also on the digital side. You are seeing the these two "features" working against each other.

    Pin 7 is B.
I got my cable in, thanks James! I am going to hook it up to a set of 20Ks and a TTL Maxyz. I want to clarify... for a TTL laser, I hook it up to "B"... Pin 7?

At first I want to try to get it to work using lava's driver to make the card a easylase and LDS. Then I will see if I can remember how to use this keyboard for something besides typing...

    That list...

    1 X
    2 GND
    3 Y
    4 GND...

Is a list of the output pins on the LaserBoy correction amp; NOT the ILDA connector!!!

    That's kind-of missleading. They are actually labeled on the board as 1, G, 2, G, 3, G, ... as in channel 1, GND, channel 2, GND, ...

    If you want the TTL color signal, from a LaserBoy wave, it will be on the "I" channel; pin 11 of the correction amp. 1 G 2 G 3 G 4 G 5 G 6 G

If you go with a normal ILDA connector pin configuration for your red only projector, just use the first auxiliary color channel for TTL red. That's ILDA connector pin 8. If you plug the little wires into the correction amp as shown in the picture, ILDA Connector pin 8 is the magenta one (I think ~ if not the yellow).

I'd be glad to go over it bit by bit with you on the phone. Have a meter ready!

I hooked up my wires from right to left on the card as X,Y,R,G,B. In the audio channels I have to set it as X=1, Y=2, R=8, G=3, B=7. Makes no sense to me but it works so I don't care.
