    Default Sean Scanner

I got my ScanPro20's last week, and had them up and running in 5mins,

I am building the setup in a old Media Center PC Case. its nice and slimlined and has a strong Steal base.

Straight away i mounted then galvo's. and as a temporary job i mounted my cheap ebay laser pen (<50mw 532nm) in the case with a styrine block and elastic bands.

This was enough to get the setup working

I am just using the ScanPro DMX board for now to get it all running. This is until i have got my Soundcard DAC.

Here's a little video of the setup in action.

Since the Video i have now Mounted the Galvo Drivers and PSU, And just order a nice 100mw 532nm Green CNI laser from LSP

    I'll keep you all posted

    Cool

Classic! From nothing to beams, fans, and tunnels in 5 minutes! Gotta love it...

I've got a set of those ScanPro 20's sitting here ready to be reviewed. As soon as I finish up the video edit on the review of the ScanPro 40's, I'm going to hook up those 20's and see what they can do. From what I've read from others, I have high expectations!

The X ( I think, it may be the y one) seems to be slightly out of whack, but seeing as I needed this thing for a concert 3 days ago, aslong as it worked I was happy. It is quite noisy, but it should be easy enough to fix once I get the time. I have a few vids on youtube, LPFthings is my username. I intend to get a few more up soon, and even more once I get my 100-150mw from dave!

I'm using a 15.9" ( I think ) widescreen laptop at 1280 by 800 resolution. It's my only PC, but its fine for my uses!
