    Default RGY color problem

    Hi,

    I have a RGY laser. What can I do to appear the blue lines on the output?
    Can I attach the green or red laser to the blue output of ILDA (pin 7-20) too (same time) or will it
    brake down the laser or driverboard? Cause it will get 2x5V, I think so.
    Or does it accepted at an RGY laser, that the blue frames are hidden?

    Thanks

    What software are you using to control the lasers. On some software I believe it is possible to re-assign colour channels. This would mean that you wouldn't have to alter any wiring or connect any lasers together

    I use Mamba Black, but I don't know is it possible in it. It would be the best solution.

    Send a PM to Rob (Stanwax) or Audrey (MambaFreak) or even Andre (Oldgrumpy). They are the resident Mamba specialists OldGrumpy is the Mamba programmer, so I guess he should definately know if it's possible

    while it is best to do this in software,

    if your color signals are single ended (almost all are) you can diode logically "AND" the blue signal to the red or green.

    BLU SIGNAL OUT ---->[----X---------- new signal B+G
    GRN SIGNAL OUT ---->[----X

    ---->[--------- asciii art symbol for a diode

    X are a solder junction where the two signals join and [ = the banded anode end of the diode. 1n4001 or 1n914 are suitable.
    the diodes will have a .6V voltage drop for silicon or .32 for a schottky, so turnon will be a little higher voltage then normal .

    So , it would resolve by electronic way too.
    Yes, the best is by software.
