    Hello!
What will be the data of the emitter? I think it´s a broadbandemitter like the mitsubishis

Not sure really, only had a datasheet in my hands. It will be multimode and 10/40 divergence, so I assume not as good as the current HL6385 150mW which is singlemode and 9/17. Both are 0.64µm band emitters.

Lets see when its really there. This is all preliminary.

Just wanted to let you know.

    I just got a quote for the HL6385 for 140€ a piece
    Does this sound reasonable?

I'm told the HL6388MG is multimode with an emitting area of 1x20um

With those blue prism setups out there now,

Would this diode work with the same prism setup?

    20um stripe width isn't terrible - i think the 1 watt 445's are about a 14um stripe width.

much better than the 50um stripe width (iirc) of the mitsu 500mw 638nm...
