That's neat. Do you have two ball bearings in there? How do you mount the whole assembly to the optics table?

You should think about a finer thread; maybe brass.

No bearings, it just runs on the ends of the screws (which I rounded)
Finer threads would be nice, but it works really well as it is right now.

I still need to make a hole in the bottom for fixing
