Hey ACLasers..it's you! I didn't know your nick.
Kvant is about to produce 1 laser modul containing 640 and 445 . But not in watts like you need.

Well I thought I saw some blue somewhere and they set it is 447 and it was different, but I might be wrong (don't thing so)

Yet another option is to pick up 1 or 2 of the 500mW/443nm Nichia diodes at ~£1,500 each, Robin (UK-Laser) can probably help with a nice diode and TEC driver, and see your local LaserWave dealer for a PBS.

Over a watt of that shweeeeet deep blue for a bit over 3k... nice.

Im not sure you even need a PBS to combine 2 of these, since the beam profile is around 4x2mm... Just stack them side by side

I think - could be wrong, usually are. But I suspect the 500mw diodes are probably still pretty expensive due to demand/supply

I think there's still some kind of restriction on laser companies using the Nichia diodes otherwise I'm sure Bridge would have been on here selling cheap 445 laserwaves.

That said, to the hobbyist market, I'd say that laser now is probably worth a 1/10th the original price ie £269 ex VAT becuase most pople in this kind of forum can build or find someone to build for them cheaply using projector diodes.

you could now buy a 6W version for less (£1,863) and this 500mW version now goes for around £450
