    You're not kidding about the marvelous engineering!
    How DO they get those construction cranes on top of those tall buildings?

    If you 'really' want to know... I suspect the cranes are NOT on top of the buildings at all, but rather on the ground.

    There's some development going on in a town in our area, they're building a new tower block of offices. The cranes they're using are absolutely huge, in the sense that they are VERY tall. I have to say they look totally unstable but they carry massive loads of concrete to the upper floors. I can't say i'd fancy being the operator as he's sort of slung under the arm of the crane. It must be a massive climb up to the cabin on a morning and back down again at night - What happens if he wants a pee?. They also sway in the wind something terrible

    Does anyone know where or what this event is? It looks like a high school prom. What a way to make a lifetime of memories for everyone present.

    I can't believe you guys are actually talking about the soddin' cranes when you have a pair of jumper puppies like that in the foreground
