Here in the Netherlands even RGB is old-school.. The Coherent OPSL-lasers (high power blue, yellow and green available with beam-specs you won't believe)

Red wont be far off apparently.... Pity the cost of these things is so pricy

Some of them just run those things via DMX.

DMX is perfectly fine, especially when you have a big multicore for it, and dont have a 200M ILDA cable

DMX is perfectly fine for beamshows IMO, its easier to run a DMX cable than a ILDA cable lol.

yeah ILDA is alot better, but DMX is sometimes more convienient.

So.. how do you set your projection-size, set safety-zones, etc.?

When your hanging it up, just set it on the biggest pattern, with the biggest scan angle you can set of DMX. Then just aim it above where peoples heads would be. You can adjust projection size with DMX. You just dont have the ability to do custom stuff
