Dichro Losses

Hi

Are there different quality dichros available that will reflect more of the laser beam.

I am currently useing 2 dichros for my RGB laser but around a quarter of the beam power passes directly through the dichro.

Whos dichros are you using? and what is your layout.
The laser-wave dichros are far superior to the ones I've used in the past from Edmund optics, we do a pass green reflect blue, a pass red reflect blue and green and a newly introduced pass green and blue and reflect red.

I currently have Edmunds dichros and they do waste a lot of the beams. I need 25.4mm size, though. Who else sells them besides Edmunds?

OneStopLaserShop.com sells dichros at whatever size and shape you want. Don't know how they compare efficiency-wise to the Edmund dichros or the one's from LaserWave though.

I wish Bridge would introduce a line of dichros that are 25.4 mm in diameter... Those 15 mm units are just a little too small for my liking.

just forgot tell you the newest dichroic sizes of laserwave.
we had 25mm dichroic now.
three type:
1) reflect blue pass green and red
2) reflect blue and green pass red
3) reflect red and pass green and blue.
any other sizes are can do with customers requirment.

I just order two 25mm dichros from laserwave. One that reflects blue and one that reflects red. I am currently using 25mm dichros from Edmunds and will measure power output of all colors before and after swapping out the dichros. I'm hoping to see a nice improvement but even if not I need the dichros for another scanner that I am going to start building soon. One RGB scanner just isn't enough.
