How to dismantle PS3 optics safely?

Hi guys!
Does anybody know the safe way of dismantling PS3 optics? I tried some heat but without any success. Should I use more heat or chemicals or just brutal force? I need that cubes ↓↓↓

Just brute force does the trick. They actually come lose pretty easily (and without breaking) that way. Keep in mind there's always one face of the PBS that you won't use. That should be your point of attack.

If you fail to extract it unharmed I can send you one. I have more of these cubes than I need.

super simple.

just put some electrical tape around a small screwdriver and lightly pry it ff it will pop RIGHT off.

maybe put some tissue paper around the cube so in case it pops off it doesnt get scratched.

I've done it with screwdriver, electric tape and some brutal force. I was afraid they could crack but your advices have given me assurance they won't.
