    Hi lesioQ

    they certainly look robust ....

do they perform ok, what have you run the ilda test pattern upto using these ?

looking at the mirrors there is no way they can do 160 deg scanning as the beam will scan over each end of the mirror on the second axis

yes maybe the position of each mirror ican be driven 160 deg but what is the point if the beam is not on the mirror

    all the best ... Karl

    AND THERE IT IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i was WAITING for someone to come up and say something bad! LOL.

Kinda figured this was BS. 160 degrees? 80,000 PPS? and $1000 (or whatever?). if these were LEGIT, the laser show world would be in an uproar and in a frenzy over these! not to mention they would be probably in the range of AT LEAST a few thousand dollars.

Indeed, coil's wire gauge is the thickest I've seen, but I didn't attempt to run ILDA test pattern. Just some frames from their dedicated software.

I guess the mirrors might be long enough to house 80 degree mechanical deflection from X to Y galvo, resulting in 160 deg. optical. In this case I also didn't bother to to perform scan angle testing

    Real frighteningly。

    Important some parameter by galvo:
Rotor Inertia--high speed must low inertia, seem it has a so biger rotor.
Torque Constant--maybe it has good torque, but that almost inverse proportion with speed.

    Hi Jian

Not seen you for a while. Is there any chance you could start a new thread and show some photo's of you most recent DT40Pro driver boards and scanners. Have you implemented all the suggestions that Bill Benner has made yet?

    Thanks

    Jem
