I dont need to write the History, LMR has in his book, and then there is This:

    Are You ready for this:

Do note, when complaining about modern laser software, your alternative is the knob box....

I've used something very similar to this:
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16812101152

for other USB extension needs and it's worked flawlessly... I'm not sure about it working with the FB3 though... It also was significantly cheaper than the other solution...

I have the same and it works perfectly with the FB3 I tested it with a 25m cat5 cable (works up to 45m).
But it's only USB 1.1, so you don't have the full FB3 bandwidth... Through I don't noticed a slower execution.

.NET expansion for the FB3 anyone?
Wouldn't that be a great thing.. it would mean every laser we own could be net enabled, but do you think Pangolin would sell as many QM2000's?

I wonder if its even possible? Would the FB3 have enough processor power? From memory the Fb3's are 8051/2 based!

Anyone looked into the USB2 extenders to use with FB3?

The USB1 extenders are dirt cheap - if they even work.

Take a look at this: http://www.photonlexicon.com/forums/...ead.php?t=8396

Just don't buy the WiFi adapter and you have USB to ethernet
