    Cool

Don't forget that the site advertises it's prices in Australian dollars. Go to http://www.xe.com/ucc/ and do the conversion to US dollars. The price is actually quite reasonable.

    Adam,

I know dave and aiiji price the products in AUSSIE dollars.
I can remember i looked at the scanpro 40 and 50 six weeks ago.
The prices were in AUS dollar and i really cant recal the scan50's to be over 1000 aus dollars.

iff my memory i right they were about 100 AUsdollars higher than the scan 40's

Well, don't forget that the world currency markets have changed as well.

I looked at the prices back in late August. I don't remember what the price was in Australian dollars, but I remember that it was around $775 US.

Today, they're right at $700 US. So that's actually an improvement. (Which is strange, since the US dollar has been in free-fall for the last couple months.) Then again, the rest of the world isn't doing so well either, so maybe that's the difference.

Either way, these scanners are a deal even at $850 US. They're that good!

    A difference of 250+ by currency fall/changes?
Maybe i'm loosing it. But i don't want to say the wrong things and screw LSP by being wrong.

Maybe dave can clear things up?

    thanks

You can thank the world economic situation for these changes. The Australian dollar has dropped from buying around 90US cents a month or so ago, to what it is now at 63US cents.. However, the Chinese RMB really hasn't changed much at all compared to the US dollar..

Now lets see... The Australian dollar has dropped by a nearly a third in recent times!!!! Maybe you can see why we have been forced to up the prices.. No doubt your currency has dropped in respect to the US dollar, so hopefully the price difference will be negligible...

Hopefully, It will start to strengthen in the coming weeks, and we can adjust the prices accordingly..

Yeah, the Australian dollar just sucks at the moment

I was going to buy Pango LD2000 + QM2000.net this week but now going to hold of until the dollar gets better (hopefully not toooooo long)

The increase on Pango basic works out to be something around $500 increase

It's funny; I would have thought that with the American economy going to shit that our dollar would have hit 1 for 1
