GUI's for sale! Get one NOW!![]()
I'd be keeping the Mac port up to date if there was a GUI.
Can't say fairer than that, James...
I keep telling you all........
IT HAS A GUI !!!!
It just doesn't use a mouse!

Well... Everything you see inside the window is made in my C++. It is a memory bitmap that gets made and plastered on the screen every time something changes. Since it is 24 bit color at whatever resolution you want and it renders vector art. I would say that it is a "kind-of" GUI.
I really want to keep the whole thing as independant of anything else as I can!
I can see writing my own mouse trapping routines and graphics to go with...
I think there are some other places LaserBoy needs to get hooked up; like with a good cross-platform pro audio API that lets me talk to more than 2 audio channels!
I am having a lot of fun with it now. KeeperX has more ideas to throw at me than I can keep up with.

It would probably be better if you used the EasyLase style drivers, that way you can drive dedicated DACs or use the soundcard DAC driver.
If you're really intent on WAVs ueber alles then I suggest that PortAudio may be worth a look- supports ASIO on Windows and CoreAudio on Mac, presumably it also works on Linux but I don't give a fig about Linux ;-)
As for GUIs, don't write your own- try Agar:
