What hardware are you using for live perforance

Actually, I looked at one of these, but I heard there's a new version due out. I can't remember where I heard that but it makes sense as the current one uses a serial port. Most machines (laptops) don't have serial ports now so I guess if there is to be a new one it may be USB.

Anyone know anything about this?

Yes, I guess you can. I use Rocketports for serial to USB conversions as they are extremely reliable and quite often work where other serial/USB convertors won't.

But the point I was making was I didn't want to consider buying a current Lasershow Performer console only to find out it was going to be obsolete in a matter of weeks if a new version was due out
