    For those who might be interested:

    UK's "Insanity" posted a great in depth review of the Novation Remote Zero controller, and included the mapping he used for LivePro. Folks thinking about buying a separate MIDI controller may want to give it a look:

    can't you just use a usb to serial lead or wont this work for some reason ?

    Yes, I guess you can. I use Rocketports for serial to USB conversions as they are extremely reliable and quite often work where other serial/USB convertors won't.

    But the point I was making was I didn't want to consider buying a current Lasershow Performer console only to find out it was going to be obsolete in a matter of weeks if a new version was due out
