    Default Best ways to photograph a close range set up

    Hello again gang

    was trying to take some photos of my dichro set up close range whilst operating.....


    but am getting some really bad pictures, maybe my camera aint that good, but there must be some quick tips you experienced players can give to mr n00b here lol


    ohhh man i just realised what u meant by the beam size of a red 635nm - its friggin huge!

    The camera needs to be very stable... You are best off sticking it on a tripod... That's what I do...

    Clean simple lines and all the technical gubbins hidden away in the darkness.

    I took it with a basic Nikon holiday snap type camera, nothing special... Now this is a lovely bottom...
