    James,

I have seen the SICKO film..... that film cant be right..
I "know" different people from the US (automotive friends) non of them complain about it..
maybe because they are al "middle"class people with normal jobs.
    I don't know.

Over here we have some mixed thing.. national health care/ and insurance... The dutch are one of the most eager people (in europe) to folow US standards and habits.
I really don't know if that is good or bad.
even the politicians are using the same habits now.

errrrr what where we talking about??? uhhhhhh

The money end of it all really sucks. There is no end of bills, red tape, lawyers and pure BS. Some people do lose everything to medical problems. That is all very real. But most of our medical professionals are genuinely considerate people who do it because they really want to help people..... So, once you get the best care in the world look out for the worst medical "hangover" !

So it's crap in England too eh ?? It's such a joke, you have to wait that long to get it checked out.

Hope something gets sorted out soon.

TBH it isn't always as long as they say, they usually play it up so you feel better when you get seen sooner.

That said, it pays to pick your time. You could try 9am, that way most people haven't had chance to have minor accidents as they're only just starting work and those who got drunk the night before are long gone.

Just tell your work you have a hospital appointment (or make it dental if you don't want them thinking you're ill).

    Here's an idea...

Go to a laser vision correction clinic and get their "free exam". I walked in with no appointment hand they had me on all kinds of machines in less that an hour. One of which I know examines the retina.

In all seriousness, Maybe you should give a Lasik clinic a call and see if their willing to take a look or could point you in the right direction. Sorry to hear that happened to you. I wish you the best of luck.

Would "Blurryness" be a result of laser radiation in the eye? I notice, after watching my laser for a while, it gets slightly harder to focus. I don't have any vision spots that I can see, but the blurryness is creeping me out :O

I have excacly the same, but my vision only blurs one letter. It also depends about the distance between eye and text.
