Default I just bought a laser (at long last)

Had to share the news, I just bought a Laser - nothing special new Laserworld 600RGY. Reckon I got a good price though £381.00 + £32 P&P.

Its an RS series with 50K scanners, ILDA, DMX and flightcase.

I reckon the system case, flightcase and scanners are worth more than what I paid for the whole system! (Ignoring the ridiculous price they charge for a bare case on their web which really can't be factored in).

I know the 50K scanners on their own usually go for around £250.

The RS-400RGY is 2,058 Euros in their shop!

I've don't think I've ever seen these finish under about £500 and they regularly make £600-800. I think this is the cheapest I've ever seen one bought for.

What do you reckon, think it was a good buy?

    Totally blew my budget!

Have you tested it yet? Maybe it doesn't work at all...
If it works, it was a very good buy (I guess) and then there is just one more thing to say:
PICS! PICS! or better VIDS! VIDS!

I'm sure that won't happen as I'm sure they're honest, but if it doesn't work or not as described, they'll be in trouble.

Under the new regulations in March 2008, (The Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008) its now a criminal offence to mislead a consumer in the UK - punishable by unlimited fine and / or up to 2 years in prison. I've read it applies to ebay and international traders trading in the uk.

A good guide in my opinion (very readable) to the new Regulations for anyone trading in the UK is here on the Derbyshire government website. I accept no liability for its accuracy as I was in no way involved with its creation: http://www.derbyshire.gov.uk/Images/...cm2-219616.pdf .

Highly advised reading for all trading in the UK as many previously legal activities are now illegal under the new regulations. eg Advertising for sale items when the stock available at that price is unreasonably limited (bait advertising).
