So i have my hunt for a suitable DAC for my ILDA connection
i was originally looking to buy the Laswerworld DAC
Laserworld Open USB
D/A transducer/interface for use in combination with laser software for the control of laser systems etc.. It concerns here the Laserworld USB box version 2006, identically constructed LUMAX. It is compatibly to numerous software solutions at the market, like e.g. HE laser CAN, Mamba & Mamba Black… High speed USB interface for Laserworld Showeditor 2008. Transfer up to 1MB per second ensures a very smooth and fast output of up to 50,000 pps. ILDA output connector with full XY, blank and RGB.
- self- powered through USB
- X/Y axis: 12bit
- 3 color channels: 8bit
- Scanspeed output: 70.000pps
- Double buffer technology
- DMX 512 output on board
- 8 TTL channels
- Multi-card control
- very compact & affordable
BUT will be handle the analog signals by my projector?
it does say 8 TTL but is this meaning for the laser too? confused, maybe obvious but i'm a bit ill and in dire straits
why would they sell analog lasers and not DACs that would limit there products options
help (again sorry)![]()
