    Default UKLEM 3½ - Feeler ??

Just a feeler to see if anyone would be interested in a UKLEM3½ at my local village hall, Surfleet in South Lincolshire to be precise.
I rang up the keykeeper today and asked the price of the venue for a Sunday in December, perhaps the 7, 14 or 21st? and it's normally £10.00 per hour but to me, as I am a Surfleet resident, it's £8.00 per hour but no more than £100 for the full day. Outage time is midnight.
The hall is easily big enough for us all and has blinds/curtains at all windows. It also has an upper room.

Also a pub well within walking distance that does darn good food.

Im in though I am concerned I think my passport may have run out by then
Dunno if I would venture with the 168 - dont want to sap all the power of the village away, and for me the 7th will deffo be out as I will be in London for a concert.

Love the idea! If I can combine it with one of my service trips I'm definitely in
Though as I am sure you know, distance is a big factor for me

To be honest any date around then or whenever is OK with me. If it is to be then we will need a date to suit most.
There is a couple of camp beds available here if anyone needs, nothing too plush mind
One in the conservatory and one in the front room if needed
There are also many B&B's around and a pub just across the road with accomodation, again if needed.

    Good idea Jim

I'll try to do what I can to make it, but December's not always a good month for me. Once the date is fixed i'll try to clear the path

    Cheers

    Thumbs up

That's spooky cus I was thinking of a UKLEM 3 1/2 on a slightly different wavelength.
At our meets we never get round to the "workshoppy things" so was just musing on the idea of a get together where the focus would be on a more presentation level.
Not a myriad of lasers (well, no more than, say, 10 ) but with time set aside to actually get a run down on various programs and their features etc.

But a Laser day round Jim's Gaffe looks nearly as appealing.

I'm a tentative yes but I think that you'll be hard pressed to get a lot of interest at that time of year (wives and partners wanting to go krimbo shopping, the 10 foot snowdrifts we're bound to be experiencing by then etc.).
Be happy to be proved wrong though.

Hmm... Wasn't it some form of seafaring mollusc of the pearl bearing variety
