Default Maybe I'm a gimp but...

I'm trying to search for things with two words in e.g. disco scan, but I get millions of results...I tried putting """" quotes round the words but didnt change anything.

Any advice, or perhaps this feature could be built in.

    Exclamation

You should use AND to force a search for instances of both words.
    e.g. disco AND scan
This also works on the World Wide Interwebnet.

Now, get that mask back on and get back in your box !!

    How bizarre.
I ran this search and it shows all posts threads that contain the word disco and scan (just 15 threads).

Don't forget you are searching by threads and not individual posts, therefore if post 1 mentions scan and post 2 mentions disco then that thread will appear in your search.

OK I'll tell you what I want, what I really really want apart from a zigazig arghhh is to be able to search for both words next to each other....so when I search for "disco scan" I want the following to be found.....

"Pangolin are giving away a free disco scan to anyone who wnats one"

And I want the following to be ignored

"It's good practice to audiance scan at a disco"

Do you see what I mean?

But you were already there matey.
"disco scan" in quotes will do the jobby (like this).

    Only 4 threads (including yours).

I think you'll find that the Pangolin 'Discoscan' is all one word
Quote: "There is a theory which states that if ever, for any reason, anyone discovers what exactly the Universe is for and why it is here it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another that states that this has already happened.”... Douglas Adams 1952 - 2001
