    Hi,
I am building my first RGB - am using an old PC desktop case. Progress so far can be seen under "First RGB" in Lasers, scanners ......
There are a couple of other ongoing projects in thay section too.
Are you planning on combing that 405 with the other two?
    How will you do it?
    All the best, David

Yes i plan to combine.. i will be using the laser-wave dichros, as they have been shown pretty effective. Eventually i will get a true 405nm dichro when the become more common

Lay it all out on some plywood or something first. Once you get it sorted take measurements and go from there.

Check out the gallery - a lot of folks have posted "work in progress" photos over there!

Also, with the plate sizes you have (1/4" thick) , be sure to reinforce the one that will be used to actually mount the lasers and optics - a "frame" mounted to the bottom of the plate, cut from square aluminum tubing available at Lowe's, Home Depot, etc., will go a long way towards insuring a nice, stiff platform for the expensive parts of your projector!

Good luck - and post pictures!!
