Awesome!
I remember with earlier versions of Spaghetti, I had to sort all my ILDA files into lots of about 5, cause over about 10 Spaghetti went slow.
Lookin forward to testin it out Gary!
Cheers,
Dan

No. I am still putting on the finishing touches and filing my patent for bitmapped laser image choosing control.
Spaghetti Beta 10 bug.
Still can't find any ILDA viewing options other than viewing through a project.
So I opened a project I created on Beta 9 which I called ILDA Viewer (nothing more than an empty shell project I created for file viewing).
When I do this I now get an exception:
I'm running Vista 64 Ultimate BTW.See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:

</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
I just created a brand new viewer project file in Beta 10 just in case. Again why I try to open a folder containing ILDA files I get this exception (posted as not sure it exactly matches the 1st):
See the end of this message for details on invoking

Sorry, I can't help you with that.
Your software doesn't work but now you can't help me?
Is this a continuation of the Pangolin thing, because we like Pangolin on here I'm suddenly unworthy of your help with your software?
If I had to guess, I'd say "yes." Remember that he "left" the forums once before because of something similar. Even changed his sig tag to read "Don't even think about asking me for Spaghetti".
Oh, I'm sure he'll say it was all a joke, but the message seems pretty clear to me. Really sad that he won't support people that take the time to report bugs *and* post a complete exception list to boot. Most developers would be very apprieciative of that sort of assistance from their users.
Might want to try posting your question on his google groups forum though. I understand he still monitors that one fairly regularly. Perhaps you'll get better response there.
Adam
LOL. Awesome. You people have convinced me to pull the plug on Spaghetti except for me and my friends.
A couple posts back the dude says he only uses it for viewing ILDA files and then when I try to help him out he says the new version is even worse and he is going to have abandon using it. Like I really care. I have spent a year on this software and the dude is complaining that he can't use it as his free ILDA viewer.
With the Pango patent threats and all I really don't have any desire to try to ever sell it and I don't want to be stifled in regards to what I can implement. And since you people just piss me off, consider Spaghetti gone.
I'm not even mad as I type this, I'm actually laughing.
To be honest Adam, I don't think I'll bother. I found another bug in the file tree but I'm not even going to bother posting.
I'll just uninstall and find another viewer to view my downloaded ILDA files. I would have probably used Spaghetti as a controller eventually when I'd got a lead and DAC as I'm financially of small pockets and just looking for something to give me some control, although of couse I always jump at the chance of being pango'ed!
I do have an opinion on the Gary vs Pangolin debate but I chose to keep quiet earlier so as to not cause anyone any offence.
It seems that because one or two people don't share Gary's views on Pangolin we are all tarred with the same brush and it seems as if even then we can't agree to disagree but all have to sent to the dog house.
Well there is one thing I will say that sets Spaghetti apart from Pangolin apart from the patents and thats customer service. Bill is always the 1st to offer help from what I've seen. Pity Gary hasn't taken that onboard.
