    Hi Cruch,

I already answered your private email, but here is the answer on this forum.

The electrical current requirement depends on what the FB3 is doing, and how it is connected. When connected and operated by USB, it draws the maximum current. In that case, the current requirement could be up to around 300mA. Otherwise, it should be much less.

Also, each daughterboard adds some current to it. The FB3 itself only draws around 100 to 150 milliamps. When you add the DMX Daughterboard, this gets increased to around 200 milliamps. When you add the USB Daughterboard, and operate it with USB, especially USB version 2.0 (480 megabits per second), the current requirement goes up more.

So, sorry for an inexact answer, but it depends on what's happening with the FB3 and which daughterboards you have installed. I wouldn't expect it to draw much more than 300mA.

    Best regards,

    William Benner
