    Exclamation direct injection diodes...

Where do the German manu's get hold of the diodes to make the 447 and other lasers from? Where can I get hold of one or two? I would like to explore that region to try and get another solution to a smaller, less demanding laser. No bipolar TEC's and very complicated machining of multiple parts.....compared to a single TEC and one driver....not to mention the modulation aspects are vastly improved.
