I found some shows on youtube from the Mamba Contest.

But I have a mixed feeling about the fact that we, amateurs, have to compete with a professional company like Spectrabeam...

Hi MambaFreak.

I do believe that WE amateurs could win with our shows.
I did the `lord of the rings show` all handmade with mamba, no imports of
3d stuff and it was the best graphics show. And it was my very first show I ever created. It took only a few weeks. Remember: a good music is 50% of the show
And amateurs can be creative, too!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations with the price, really!

But it still gives me a bad feeling about it.
Tobias (LJ Gebbi) is a good friend of the MediaLas family and even gave a presentation about making shows last Saturday at MediaLas. So somehow related to ML. This counts the same as for Spectrabeam. This company is selling Mamba shows. I also can not understand that a show can win 2 times: 3th price beamshow ánd the price for the OneFrame show.
It's too bad that I can not post 100 times the icon "" and "" !

Right now I don't like MediaLas at this moment.
This is because I also sent-in a lasershow for this contest.
I worked more than 20 hours on it and my choise of music was good.
According to the entry form they would inform me if the show is qualification or disqualification. After a week I asked ML if my show was arrived. No answer. Three days later I asked it again. Guess what? No answer. Now I know that there where only 15 enties last Saturday. But not my show. Why? How knows. I have the bad feeling that my show never arrived MediaLas at all.

I think MediaLas has a big communication problem.
If they treat me (or maybe also other people) in this way, they are gonna loose a lot of laserists. Right now I'm at a point that I consider to sell my Mamba stuff (or burn it ) and go for Pangolin software. Hopefully there way to communicate is better that this one.
Another Mamba user here wrote me a PM about the same problem, so I'm not the only one here.

WOW, THAT performance deserves an oscar.
May be if you post you show on you tube then we all can see it as for MediaLas emailing back. Dont hold your breath. I just wish i was ritch enough so i could treat my customers like shit too.
