    Default intensity and lifetime

Hello everyone! I have a question about laser modules lifetime:

does the intensity affect to the laser lifetime?

    Thanks a lot.

Yes. Absolutely. But to what extent depends on the laser.

    DPSS Laser from CNI 532nm
CNI guaranteed that those lasers can work approximately 10 000 hours, but is this calculation for maximum intensity?

I was wrote the letter to CNI but they have a holidays now.

8800 hours in a year, there is warrenty power and shipping/peak power. So if a laser is properly designed for a one year life, there is a buffer zone by adding more power.
It depends on the design and how well you heat sink it.
