    Default My Pango Enclosure

Pango introduced the Boxed version of the FB3 (1 week after i ordered my fb3) bugger!!!!
I had to make my own box because Bill found it impractical to sell the empty box.
The Old and New fb3 would not fit in the Pango Box and should have to be retrofitted.

I decided to make my own Enclosure for my FB3, containing a nice stabilized powersuplly unit and the Fb3.

It took a litte more efford and time than i wished.
Ontop of that i forgot to order a power socket, so i had to use a old one (not so pritty on a new box)
One tip.... if you make a box, have the holes for the memcard and usb CNC Machine out.
I did it by hand and that really took alot of blood sweat and tears!!
I think it wil look alot nicer when machined.

    The results:

I Have tried spraypainting the Pango logo on my box.
After making the masking i painted the box in 2 phases.
Sadfully the paint didn't hold on the anodized allu and reacted.
I had to clean the paint of....

    Yeah cruch,

After i recieved your Units, i really liked the psu's.
    Nice and small.
I had to order one for myself.

If i knew the units were so nice i would have ordered when i did your order.

I have tested the PSU FB3 combo and it works fine.
(it actually works smoother than my previous Buspowered setup)

What sort of PSU are you using there? Looks like it would be one heck of a convenient small power supply for several different projects.

I sold it to one of the PL members here in europe.

I have moved on to the QM2k system.
    The FB3 wasn't for me.
