    Default temperature control

    Hi all!
I thought to add a very simple thermostat to control fan of optics baseboard, where lasers and their drivers are placed.
It switch on the fan when the room temperature is over 25.5° Celsius, turn off the fan when temperature drops to 24.5° Celsius.

I paid it 20 Euros cause it has also a 1 inch lcd display. Other models without lcd are cheaper...
    I think I made a useful purchase.

    Greetings.

    Steve

Looks good Steve but wouldn't you be better monitoring Laser module temperature than room temperature?

    Yep. You are right.
Indeed it would be better, absolutey.

I chose this solution because easiest to realize.
My baseplate is 1cm thickness and I also have enought room into my projector to dissipate heat.
Strange but real... I had inverse problem. Combined action of room - baseboard thickness - fan, maintained too much low temperature (no more than 20-22°C) inside case.
So I decided "to stop" fan and let it work just only when needed (over 25-26°C).
I done a test last night: projector was running continuosly a beamshow, without stop. Into my studio room was 19°C.
After 3 hours on work, temperature inside case was 22.5°C only and fan was always off.

Maybe in summer I could have some problem.....
