    Here is a pic of the "house model" red laser. Po is 512mw out the door. Can go as high as 600....but why....just kills diodes. This guy has a lot of hours on it......very stable and a killer beam ...tight spot. Has a neg temp 10k thermistor and a 20watt tec chip. 5 amp driver keeps them at 68 deg F. One of a few to come.....

    quick question. once you isolate the heat sink with say a tec or mica sheet whats the best way to mount it?

    since a metal bolt would just end up ruining that isolation anyways.

    I would use nylon screws.

    Tagged as 660nm.....cool as it runs.....with a little help from a TEC measures 514mw @658nm.....the peak power at this wavelength....modulatable to 10khz
