Hey Keeperx,

Thanks again for coming up to check out the laser last night, sorry the party went to crap. At least you got to play around with Pangolin
LD2000 for awhile. I'm interested in combining two of those diode
lasers you brought to get +/- 600mW red for my RGB rig.

Yeah that was SWEET software.. daddy likes....

for the lasers.. its a diode, a few bucks for aixiz modules, flexmod drivers then assembly.. add a heatsink (like the one you saw).. i would suggest you go for 500mw instead though, that diode is stressed at 300 but would do 250 fine.

i could do it for cheaper than what you paid that other guy.

If you want it tec cooled i can do that too (for a little more)

I have a friends house in Jersey I could stay at in in NYC, and take the PATH train in, but I suspect it is the high cost of lodging in eastern PA like Philly and NYC/Jersey that would drive most people away. 135$ a night just doesnt cut it. Although the Chinese resturant behind Penn station at 9-14$ a plate and low cost gourmet world class chinese food and Jersey Pizza is tempting.

Incidently, isnt hauling laser gear around Manhatten somewhat maddening? Are you stressed when you do that? How do you safely park the truck?

Do you think they'd let us use the 110 on the Ferry and project stars on the base of the Lady, or that waterfall on Governors Island? (was just there)

well i think that PA or MD would be a betetr choice than NY.

Its more centrally located. The best bet i think would be in the philly area. Even the N-VA guys could make it there,..
