    Default Ne ohio check-in

    Y'all know me!

    I'm in Akron, Ohio USA.

    I'm looking to form a club of -real-get-together-people- ...........

to freely advance, experience, share and love the art of color laser display.

If you need to check-in via PM or my personal email it's all good.

    james@akrobiz.com

I have TMDA, so you need to reply!

Let's get together the "multi channel sound card DAC" crowd.

You are out there and willing to travel for a good bit of fun and experience!

I want to meet you, in person, and make this really important.

Key PL players are already waiting in NE OHIO!........

    Come On!

    James.

    Hi decix,

Thanks for the kudos and vote of confidence, but I am actually happy that James is not a Pangolin user .

But seriously... I always applaud people for working on their own innovations. And while some people innovate by using our SDK as a big starting point, others re-create the wheel from scratch.

Pangolin is main-stream. Some people are outside the main-stream. There's nothing wrong with that!

    while we are having fun

Who ever said that the first wheel was round? Maybe reinvention of the wheel has brought us more than we are aware of.

True, although I think progress comes more from innovation than re-invention. While maintaining the context of your post, here is one good example:

    Hi Zoof.

Awesome! Although, Dayton is almost as far away from Akron / Cleveland as you can get and still be in Ohio! It's about a 4+ hour drive.

I'd sure like to meet you.

I live in NE Ohio. So does mixedgas, drlava, laserguy216. They have all been to my house! There are several other PL people who are close enough to NE Ohio. I just found out that there is a PL member close enough to me to walk here!

BTW My wheel has a lot of good drive behind it. It moves forward and it can steer! I'm trying to "turn" the trend a bit and let other people find out that there are some very serious limitations to the idea of all of the technology being proprietary and in the control of just a few people.
