One day .... one day ...

Are you familiar with thier programming structure? Since I have a spare DMX control board, it would be pretty cool if I could try something out

    Question

Anyone here down to make a short tutorial on this board? I have one and can't make heads or tails of it. Granted I am close to an id10t when it comes to boards and such, so I am sure it is not complicated. A lot of people seem to be starting out with these scanners and a little "how to" would be nice. Then there is also the LSP discount for a "review".

The outputs are straight out of the micro, thru a dg201 fet switch, so the micros port capability limits blanking output. In this case, the outputs can sink 15ma, and source bugger all, hence why a small buffer circuit is required for Analogue lasers.

just working thru this board, should have a few more answers in the next couple of days

I have encountered this problem as well. It turns out the 16-pin connector from the DMX board is only connected to pins 7-14 and 19-25 (on d-sub 25), while my FB3 board utilizes pins 1-7, 14-20, and 25. Did something get lost in translation? It almost looks like they soldered it upside down. I double checked, and there is no continuity between my FB3 output channels and the DMX board channels. I thought ILDA is ILDA is ILDA. I'll have to end up bypassing the board altogether which I was probably going to end up doing anyway.
