    Default anyone explain what these do?

    anyone know what these optics are for? it looks like 2 prisms that have been glued together. i got them out of a 4X blu-ray burner sled.

    You might be able to figure it out if you know where it sits in the beam paths
    of the sled it came from... Just a thought..

    I believe it acts both as a beamsplitter and a 90 degree turn---that is just from logical guessing --looking at the beam path in the sled.
