    Enjoy the power!!

Touch screens are clearly the way to go for a lot of live display stuff. My lighting desk natively has a touch screen interface and it's sooooooo intuitive when using it. Most laser software interfaces look as if they were designed for a touch screen anyway - why not use one!

Arg.. bad timing. I would soooo buy one of these after seeing Francesco from Pangolin showing off LivePRO at SELEM back in August. Now that I have LivePRO and a decent M-Audio MIDI controller, this would be the perfect fit.

We'll see. I already tried rationalizing going to FLEM.. maybe I could swing this instead. ...in the next two days..

In case you need a supplier

Yeah, I've been thinking about this, too, since SELEM...

With something like 20 minutes to spare, I couldn't help myself. I bought one too! (Marie is gonna kill me...) Still, where else can you find a 19 inch touch screen with a waterproof and shatter-resistant glass front for $365 delivered?

No free shipping to the US. I had to pay an extra 25 pounds. Still, I think it was a good deal nonetheless.

Typical "bargain" prices for a 15 inch touch screen over here are around $300 or so. This was a 19 inch for only $65 more, and that's with the impact-resistant glass and the waterproof seal. How could I refuse?

Now I just have to figure out how to explain it to my wife when the large box arrives...

Tell her it's a sample for reviewing purposes.

    Cool

That might just work! At least until she sees the credit card bill...

Either way, it was a deal I couldn't pass up. That's a $600 screen here in the US. Besides, after watching Francesco's demo at SELEM, I've learned that a touch screen is *way* better than a mouse for controlling LivePro. (One day I'd like to see one of the Lasershow Performer consoles in action though... I bet that would be even better!)

Sure wish you guys would quit posting about all the cool laser add-ons!

Made me look - found a 17" EVO Touchscreen on Ebay late last night for $250, delivered...should be at my house in a couple of days

    Karl -

Are you mounting yours in any kind of frame / bezel, or just using it "as is" from the box?
