any ideas how to combine 2 405 nm beams? is there a pbs cube for this wavelength?

the problem with the one from the sled is that it is VERY small

i have done a few experiements with a 473nm cube from laser wave and have gotten prety good results.

but since i do not have a power meter i cannot give exact details. sorry.

i do have an extra 473nm cube from laser wave unopened if you are interested.

The problem with the standard cube from the sled is, it is optimized for 650 and 405.

There are optics available for the "just barely visible" range. However they Are not cheap, and they're hard to find.

Unfortunately, I do not know of an off-the-shelf solution for what you're trying to do. The other cubes are close, but you'll lose a ton of light doing what you're trying to do.

i just ordered a power meter and will be able to let you know exactly how much is lost using a 473nm cube.

it should be here late next week

Hey everybody! I just got (like 5 minutes ago!) a 405 analog mod laser that was hand made by thesk8nmidget.

I just hooked it up and throttled it up to full brightness.

    GAWD! This thing is bright!

It looks fantastic on white paper.

I'm gonna' have fun with this!

    Thanks Josh!

    James.
