    Thats completely true :-)
    Prices differ...

but generally 500 for a good show isn't bad.
(Thats for industry pro's, not for us home hobbyists)

I know from bill that the show's wil not work on the FB3 because the software isn't capable of playing the LD2k files.

A solution is being developed by pango and should be available "early" next year. (for now us FB3 users will have to wait)

    No futher info available...

Pretty sure they're LD2000 / QM2000 (Showtime) only - they were created with that suite, then checked and (if needed) optimized by the folks at Pangolin to make sure they correctly utilize timing, palettes, zones, etc. For now, I would be very surpised to see them rewritten for the FB3 or any other hardware / software platform...

.....but a possible change lurks BEYOND the horizon...!

I'm sure they could make them work on any hardware they wanted... but then you wouldn't have to buy the expensive stuff.

    But then again -

Those shows were created by users (NOT Pangolin!!) who wanted to utilize the very features the "expensive stuff" offered them, and are being shared, freely, for other users of that same "expensive stuff" that supports those features!

You can't blame Pangolin - or users who have willingly spent their hard-earned money to buy Pangolin products - if the users of the freeware and other "non-expensive stuff" aren't producing, and sharing, similar quality shows!!

Thumbs up Another free Pangolin show!

    Hey folks!

There is *another* new show on the FTP server. It's a graphics show set to the Moby song "We are all Made of Stars". (And no, I didn't make it!)

It was produced by LightSpeed Design Group. Bill purchased the rights to this show, and it's now available for all Pangolin LD-2000 users.

The file you're looking for is "Lightspeed_Made_of_Stars.zip". I just finished uploading it to Cruch's server, and it's uploading to Spec's server right now.

    Thumbs up

    Awesome!!

Thanks again for for providing these to us, Bill!

    AND for posting, Adam!!

    P.S. -

I just viewed the show for the first time....Wow!!
I have to say, the quality of the shows being released to us for free, and also those being created by fellow PL members, is pretty incredible!!

    HOWEVER -
It is having an interesting impact on my listening habits.....
I'm a die-hard, self-proclaimed, stuck-in-the-early-80's, classic rocker, yet thanks to many of the LD2000 shows, I find myself listening to a LOT of dance / trance / techno music.
    Damn, how did THAT happen?
