I am in favor of that.
bet you LPF is having a fit.. . i really don't care, if i want a powerful laser pointer, ill build it..
If it reduces the frequency of 'Idiot with Laser Pointer blinds Pilot' type incidents, and the bad press that such stupidity tends to generate, I'll be happy.
It's like Deja Vu.
All over again.
Great news...
A. It helps stop people selling lasers to the wrong kind of people.... Which is good for us. As Greenalien says, idiots tring to blind pilots etc..
B. Makes my eBay searches easier...

hell yeah !!!
So is this just the UK? or for ALL of ebay???
Lasers, Lights, Music, Action!
I think overall this is good, as long as it does not extend to other lasers - that would be a killer - though I have not tried to sell a laser on the bay for a number of years. I just hope though that ebays traditional inconsistency in implemention does not come though here and they start pulling random auctions just cos they have the word laser in the name.
But whatever ebay do there will still be dix out there who do stupid things making it harder for all of us in the laser field. (oooooh a field of lasers - theres an idea)
Rob
If you need to ask the question 'whats so good about a laser' - you won't understand the answer.
