OK. I just answered my own question...

I found "DXF_____LaserBoy" in the first line of the file in a hex editor!

BTW, you saved this file from LaserBoy using ILDA formats 1 and 2.

I have found that format 2 is not universally supported.

    You have two options.

You can do a best color match to the default palette and save it again. This means that you won't be saving any format 2 sections. The "Default_" palette of 62 colors is assumed.

With lasermodule.ild loaded, go to main menu option 'p' palette transforms. You should see 2 palettes side-by-side. The first one is the palette of the current frame, which happens to be "DXF_____". Make sure the target palette is set to "Default_". You can change the target palette with the up and down arrow keys.

Choose option 'A'. [Shift] 'a' will do a best color match on ALL of the frames.

    Now save it as ILDA.

Or you can save it as format 5.

From the main menu choose option 'u'. Tap the 'k' key to choose save ILDA format 4,5. [Esc] back to main menu and save it as ILDA.

ok, I just noticed your tag " creator of laserboy". Great app by the way.
I am fairly blunt with all the different ilda formats, what is the diff between 1,2 and 4.5.
