hahaha! What are you doing, Dave? Why are you out of alignment again, Dave?
Thanks! Last measured, its 240mW of 635, 190mW of 532 and 160mW of 473. With all three lasers on full, it give a nice white after the optics, which is exactly what I was going for. Needing to turn down a color severely reduces what your projector can create, especially since the analog modulation on most of the solid state stuff I've seen stinks. At some point in the near future, I'll post some pics of how the projector was made.
Huh? I know it was a bit of a stretch, but I was making a flemsy joke referencing 2001. Since someone called my projector "Dave"I don't remember that part... Was that me?
Adam
Ah... Gotcha. (I'm sorry Dave, but I can't do that!)
Adam
..a projector named "dave".. does it have 1 big red eye on it? well, no , then it'd be called 'hal' .. maybe we should all name our projectors-- I think I'll call mine 'bart'.. or maybe 'george'.. or I guess 'steve' would make more sense.. A projector named hal would be really cool especially if it had A.I. and could have a converation with you..
that sounds like "do_able" powerlevels (budgettwise)
Whats the brand of your laser....not alot of chinese lasers have that nice lightfalloff. (the UK guys love the lasers from bridge/laserwave for that)
Do you stil rock the DT40pro's?
I will be looking forward to your pictures.
I have a small lowbudget projector and am planning to build my real projector.
Your projector is a nice standard for me to work to.
All three are Lasever, I had hoped that with all 3 lasers from the same manufacturer, that the modulation speeds would be about the same. The green and blue are pretty close, the red is a bit off. I've been thinking about modifying the driver a bit by letting the existing driver just run the TEC and put in the FlexMod driver to run the diode.
Why yes, the DT40Pro's do still rock!Do you stil rock the DT40pro's?
Psst. PM sent.I will be looking forward to your pictures.
