    Default LED FTW

    Hey all,

Get LED Chistmas lights this year! They are awesome. Ever notice while driving around at night that some houses' Christmas lights seem to flicker and stand out in the corner of your eye? LEDs.

    That is all.

(here's a pic of some I bought at Sears today. I hung them up to admire them for now.)

They flicker because they are diodes powered with AC!

Take a string of them and swing them around in the air in a dark room!

    Take a picture of that!

Yep, if you live in the US, they should be flashing 60 times a second!

I had these a few years ago, they are very eye catching!

Those are cool Jonathan. Wait to you see my house this year. Last year I had a electrical fire that cause 25,000 in damage because of all my Holloween lights. Breaker did not trip.

Did the manufacturer of the breaker pay the bill? That's really something..

My house was built in 1938. Electrical was updated once around 40 years. No on your question. I have really good home owners. Everything was updated to code plus no more lath and plaster.

    Ya know...

I haven't gotten around to that yet. I'll do it today though, now that you mention it. It would be really cool to actually get the laser's opinion on how much power it's putting out.
