DAMN!!! Very nice grab!!!
DAMN!!! Very nice grab!!!
hey can any one tell from this picof the geter if the ionics is upto air
looks like it, but one cannot be sure due to ionics processing methods.
That is NOT a normal 265, oh brother here we go again! missing about 20 pins on the connector and the little box is a added interface. more pics, both 265s!
That connector will be anode, two cathode leads and a safety ground. Your missing the magnet control leads on the psu connector and the anticorrsion/interlock/light feedback stuff. The little external box is mounted over the door to the current control card.(one wonders if the factory ccc is there at all) dont scrap the medical wiring harness, you will need it.
The problem is SP uses a constant current magnet regulator, without which, life is tough. gotta be done on the other psu or we're missing a connector someplace.
photo of head umblical too. the ionics appears to be factory standard.
I've never seen two identical 265s, and the last one a few months ago was less then fun. If god wasnt smiling on its owner, it wouldnt have happened. It took both me and DSLI Jon to crack that one. It also was a hack.

ok give me about 10min and they will be posted
ok Steve here's the deal
what i got was 2 separate medical tables and each one should have had a sp168 but one was removed thats how i got 2 exciters they should be identical
the exciters were never meant to work in tandem

i have 3 of those card cages
one of the connectors on the cage mates up with that weird plug on the 265
5th picture down ,,what is that box on the back of the exciter??
OK, the one is spare parts, the other one has the standard SP scientific connector. Thats good news. The SP umbilical on the head is nonstandard, but I have a few of the standard plugs. They cost about a quadmod 2000 each from the factory.
Please Delete those pictures from PL to save server space and take more of the SP265 with the 20+ pin scientific connector. front and back. You may have just got lucky. If all you have to do is solder on the new connector, life will be much easier. peel back the cover on the wierd blue connector on the head umbilical and take a good shot of the wire colors. lets see if everything is there.
If its just a connector surgery, that aint bad, assuming supply number two works. I find it odd that they had both a scientific supply and a med one. Just outta curiosity here, is there a 20+ pin SP male connector else where in the system?
STEVE
ADD ON MEDICAL light control hack. note the wierd 4 pin head plug. That one is probably spare parts at this point, it looks like supply two is scientific. I'd rather someone rewires a head umbilical then having to rewire and reconnector a hacked 265, would you not agree?
And now for something slightly not VJAWAS
magnet?
