So I need to get something straight here before I do it, If one wanted to "bus power" his FB3. All he would need to do is "jump or short" the two points as pointed out in this thread http://www.photonlexicon.com/forums/...=fb3+usb+power .... If I do the short Do I still need the 2nd USB for 5v power? or will the short allow for me to power off only the 1st usb????

If you jumper those 2 points, the FB3 will derive its power from the usb cable - you don't need a second cable

Did you get an installation disc with your purchase?

The drivers and LIVEQuick application - including the workspace file with several pages of frame files pre-loaded - are on the disk. There aren't any shows, actually - LIVEQuick is a real-time player only. Any shows would be part of the LAStudio suite, which you can download.

Be sure to e-mail Bill at Pangolin via their web site - he usually gets back pretty quick. Tell him what you need, and include your serial number for the FB3 when you contact him so you can get any needed license files.
