I'll divulge it, although if I ever sell it, it doesn't mean I'll accept this!
Having seen these typically go for £650-850 + not insignificant postage, I was very lucky to pick mine up for £405 including postage. Bought direct from the Laserworld web site as opposed to ebay, they are approx Euro 2,822!
I'm sure Jem will agree (we had this conversation) the flightcase and laser case itself are 1st class as is the build. We thought between us that the laser case and flight case alone as bare entities were probably worth what I paid for the entire unit.
Throw in 50K Laserworld Scanners, worth approx £200 at ebay prices, a Digital DMX control board, and its probably worth more in parts than what it cost.
On the power front I got 677mw not the 400mw guaranteed.
The red is trash from a beam spec point of view albeit a very nice colour - it has a very thick beam. Its fine in projection terms ie what you actually see on the wall, but some does get lost inside the projector. The green is very tight albeit both are TTL modulated.
The dichros are trashy looking being plastic looking mounts with "lenses" attached with what looks like hot glue.
Did I get good value? Well you work it out from what I said above.
Initially I was disappointed with my purchase but having seen the power on the meter and with it seemingly getting brighter every day and testing above the stated power, I'd have to say now I'm very satisfied.
Its true you can build better yourself by hand selecting parts, but for what I got for the money, I personally now think its a very nice projector. It could be better, but both in terms of value and performance, I'm now a happy bunny so to speak.
I can also see why some people on the continent are known to buy RS series projectors just to use as a base for a build, its simply cheaper than the sum of the parts if you pay the right price. Laserworld sell the bare case for Euro 1,608!!!! I got lucky and it took me 3 months to do it. That doesn't mean its impossible though.
I've copied the graphics and beam vid links below for anyone who hasn't seen them.
This isn't a go out an buy Laserworld recommendation or defence, only a statement that perhaps not everything that comes out of there is bad.

Its just unfortunate that some get lucky and some get seemingly hard done by. I'm not usually lucky so maybe it was my turn at just the right time.
