    Default whats happened to the ftp server

    whats happened to the ftp server it was in my network places and i just clicked on it now it wont let me in no matter what i try to get in
    has the password been changed??

    you can't use a browser that tries to make more than one connection at the same time anymore. Use a real FTP program like filezilla.

    The freeware version of CoreFTP seems to work well for me so far!

    yep tried that to it just told me my ip is not allowed to connect
    ohh well re boot and try again
    and this is what i got
    Response: 421 No more connection allowed for this IP.

    You have to wait for your stranded connection to time out.

    By the way, if you use FireFox, you might want to try FireFTP. It's a handy plug-in (well, a tool actually) that gives full FTP functionality to your FireFox browser. And no, it doesn't make multiple-connections, so you won't get booted. (Note that some FTP clients, notably Smart-FTP, *will* try multiple connections.)
