    Talking Tux

Check this out. I have no idea what this will look like on your system!

    This is ILDA format 5.

I don't have a working system right now, so I have no idea what this looks like on mine, either!

This is Tux the Linux Penguin logo.

Looks like a flashlight shining on an LSD penguin. No way it will work on scanners though since it has 6000 pts per frame.

Well, yes, but you did that one yourself!

    That's pretty cool too!

For all of you who don't know... he made the bitmap of tux a grayscale and did it in LaserBoy similarly as I did. But his version is played from a wave file prepared for a monochrome display.

    Neato!

    You might be surprised!

The points are pretty close together and there is no blank span... well at least not in the LaserBoy wave version.

It does scan quite well. I like the James Bond movie opening iris effect.

    Hey Steve.

I added a little pizzazz to it this time. I used 2 copies of the spiral. I mirrored one of them and added them together in the same frame. So now it scans from the center to the edge and then from the edge back to the center. Since it starts where it ends, there is no blanking jump.

I'd like to see this in SS!

It scans too slow for me, I can see the circles going out and in.

I can see the image slightly, but yeh

How about a sweeping line version? I think it would show up better since there isnt as many lines it has to draw?
