That's the coolest thing i've ever seen someone do to a C64. I loved that computer, i owed a couple of them and I'm still pack ratting all my old Amiga stuff. I even hollowed out an old Amiga expansion to use as a laser enclosure before i learned about all the FDA regulations.

Good luck polishedball! I can't wait to see that thing fired up.

I'll start a build / resto thread here once it arrives. Here is a page I created in my pursuit for more information on it and to show my fellow commodore buddies.

I bet some of those frames and EPROM's were $$$$$ back in the day.

Wow! I sure hope you can get that thing working again, John... Back in the day, I'm sure it was the cat's meow. True, by today's standards it might be a bit dated, but it's still cool to see old stuff like that working again.

Also, a big thanks to George (Dream Beamz) for donating it to a good cause!

Great news!! the original designer of this system contacted me and will be willing to help with whatever is needed to get it running. He doesn't have access to the documentation but is willing to help. Very excited now.
