    Cool

I think it comes with a bunch of shows... The website listed several different songs that it played; I'd imagine that they'd have different graphics for each one. (Maybe with just a little overlap?)

It *is* repetitive, but for the price it's really not a terrible rip off. HAving said that, I'd rather use my own projector for something like this. (Assuming I ever could be convinced to do it, that is!)

Happy to share what I did if you want it. Total cost sans scanners was $1000.00
WOW Dude! How are you? !!!

Give me a call sometime. We'll have to get together.

Are you saying that you have a green laser with an AOM in front of it?

'Cause the more I think about it, the more I want to do just that!

I should be getting my red fixed very soon and I already have a nice 405nm BluRay.

I should get you hooked up with a sound card DAC and the LaserBoy Correction Amp!

    Default projector

James see ebay and find a guy named bandled. He's got 150mw 405nm in collimators for 58.00 and he has open can 650nm reds doing 250mw for the same price. Use a PBS cube for the violet and red and your in white light. Now just find a 100mw of clean blanking green and add dichros.
This gives about the same as the old 60x/hene combo and makes a real nice programming projector. I used teamwavelenght drivers for the diodes and they are PERFECT. They cost 200.00 each and you need two. One runs both violets and one runs both reds. Don't believe the rated 400ma on the red diodes. That's got to be wrong. Run them at 250ma and they work fine. I run the 405's at 80ma. Last, get heatsinks from z-bolt.com.
If only to find clean green!!!!!

    405-100.00
    650-100.00
    532-400.00
drivers-400.00(make your own and they are 200.00)
    dichros and mounts-200.00
    scanners-2000.00
so the full projector is about $3000.00 in parts.

So far I have a hand made 405nm for a sound card + amp trade.

A 650nm red that is still kinda' in the works, also for trade.

A really nice set of 2 dichros in mounts for $150

Like you, I need an analog modulated green. I'm thinking about using a green pointer I won at SELEM as the source with an AOM in front of it.

I'm going to use the CT scanners I got from Rob.

The only part I'm not sure of is what I'm going to use to make the control signals......... Hmmmmmmmmmmm.

    Hey James,
I'd highly suggest you don't do that as a pointer won't be capable of that kind of duty cycle for long. Green DPSS modules are cheap enough however. I'm sure you can get a reliable 50-75mW unit on eBay for around $100.

I have an extra 100 mw green you can buy for really cheap. If you go aom it will be fine. It's the jelly bean machine I have now. Works great for cw.

I also have a spare adat and several qm32's
